About Our CEO
Joanna Witwicka is an Oxford-educated specialist in Educational Assessment and a PhD researcher at the University of Geneva. With over a decade of experience in Swiss higher education, she has served as a university counselor and director, building trusted partnerships with leading Swiss institutions.

She founded EdKompas to redefine how students navigate international education and is now positioning it to become the world’s leading authority in Swiss education — and beyond. Her work combines academic expertise, innovation, and an unwavering belief in every student’s potential across all continents.

Joanna has travelled the world, counselling more than 1,000 students, and has led humanitarian learning missions teaching women and children in Africa how to read and write. She is a recipient of the Outstanding Leadership in Education Award, a Swiss Ambassador for the ABC Alliance, and an active member of the Swiss–Polish Chamber of Commerce.
