How the EdKompas process works
01
Discovery & direction
(usually 2–4 sessions)
We clarify goals, strengths, interests, budget, and priorities — with student and parents aligned from the start. This stage often includes a licensed personality and strengths assessment, followed by a clear feedback session and practical interpretation, so students understand what fits them and why. The timeline depends on how advanced the student already is in their choice.
02
Best-fit matching
(usually 2–4 sessions)
We identify the right countries, universities, and majors (often including options families have not considered) and build a smart shortlist. If the student already has strong preferences, this can move faster. If there is hesitation, we use structured decision-making exercises and guided comparisons to help reach a confident final list.
03
Application execution
(usually 4–6 sessions)
This is the most detailed stage. We guide every step: essays, forms, portals, document preparation, quality checks, submission tracking, and deadline monitoring. Most students apply to three or more universities, which is why this phase typically takes the longest.
04
Decision & transition
(as needed)
We support final comparisons and confirmation steps, then guide the transition: pre-departure preparation, expectation-setting, and practical advising for visas and accommodation — so the move abroad feels calm, organized, and secure.
Every student is different — and we not only respect that, we truly value it. Some students already know what they want, while others need time to explore, compare, and build confidence — that’s perfectly normal. We don’t rush you or force a “one perfect answer.” We move at your pace, step by step, until things feel clear. If you need extra sessions along the way, that’s totally fine — there’s no extra cost. We’re in this with you until you reach the goal: a strong plan, great applications, an acceptance you’re proud of, and a calm, confident start abroad.
